Multiple national surveys have noted a decrease in teenage cannabis consumption, even with the increasing number of states legalizing its use. This trend has been observed over the last decade, but experts suggest that the significant declines witnessed in 2020 and 2021 can be partially attributed to the social isolation resulting from lockdown orders during the coronavirus pandemic.
