Numerous studies consistently demonstrate a higher occurrence of psychosis among individuals who use cannabis. These studies employ various research designs, such as case-control and cross-sectional approaches, and involve both large populations and high-risk groups. Despite being observational in nature, these studies consistently reveal a causal connection between cannabis use and an increased likelihood of experiencing psychosis.
