PTSD is a mental health disorder that emerges following exposure to a distressing, alarming, or hazardous incident. Individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder may grapple with incapacitating symptoms, including reexperiencing the traumatic event through flashbacks, encountering night terrors and unsettling dreams, enduring distressing emotions and thoughts, and wrestling with persistent feelings of guilt, shame, or anger, among various other manifestations.

Understanding Cannabis and PTSD: Current Insights As is often the case with cannabis research, investigations on this subject remain constrained. Nevertheless, anecdotal reports from individuals with PTSD persist, suggesting that marijuana may potentially alleviate symptoms.
