Based on a 2015 Survey on Drug Use and Health, 52.5% of males within the reproductive age bracket indicated prior cannabis use. In light of this data and the understanding that parental cannabis consumption could lead to unfavorable neurodevelopmental outcomes in offspring, a team of Duke University researchers embarked on an exploration into the processes through which cannabis utilization might impact alterations in sperm DNA.
